Vatsal Sheth and Ishita Dutta will be taking to the celebrations of holi but in a way that corresponds to the current situation. Yes we are talking about the coronavirus scare. They would not be using any water and would be celebrating a dry holi as the virus can spread due to water droplets and moist droplets as according to the information so far. They generally don't like wasting water anyway.

We spoke to Vatsal and here is what he says, "This year I will be celebrating with my immediate family only. Normally also I am not someone who plays holi a lot. I am against wasting water. So I would just meet my family. I also would urge everyone to stay safe and avoid huge human gatherings. We all have to do our bit in the current scenario."

Ishita adds , "This year I will be celebrating with my immediate family only. Normally also I am not someone who plays holi a lot. I am against wasting water. So I would just meet my family. I think because of coronavirus a lot of functions are not happening and a lot of  people aren't playing holi. I feel there is no need to be scared but as responsible citizens it is important for us to take it seriously and avoid public gathering as much as possible."

They also have urged people to not use any paints or colors on any animals as they have a burning and itching sensation and it can be various delicate body parts. Let's all celebrate it with food and love amongst our loved ones. We wish you all a very happy holi.
