Mumbai, Dt-4 Nov 2019 Senior Congress leader and ex minister Naseem Khan has demanded that the government should revoke the police cases filed in the statewide Maratha Reservation agitation and also the cases filed against many innocents in the Bhima Koregaon agitation. Naseem Khan has written a letter to CM Uddhav Thackeray for this.

Lacs of promising but unemployed youth participated in the Maratha reservation agitation for their rightful demands. But the BJP government booked them in false cases like attempt to murder, rioting, damaging public property. This was done purely out of vengeance. These cases must be revoked considering the future of these young people, says the letter.

Naseem Khan has also demanded that the government immediately cancel the cases filed by the then Fadnavis government against many activists from the Ambedkarite movement in the Bhima Koregaon agitation.

Naseem Khan has demanded that the Maharashtra Vikas Aghaadi government in the state should give relief to both communities.
