Three hundred twenty three  candidates in seventeen lok sabha constituencies in the fourth stage

This includes two hundred eighty six male and thirty seven female candidates



      Mumbai dated 15 : The Office of the Chief Election Officer has informed that three hundred twenty three candidates have remained in the fray in seventeen lok sabha constituencies in the fourth stage of the Lok Sabha General Elections 2019. This includes two hundred eighty six male candidates and thirty seven female candidates.

The constituency wise number of candidates is as follows . Nandurbar - eleven candidates (nine males and two females) ,  Dhule - Twenty eight ( twenty five males and three females ) ,  Dindori eight ( seven males and 1 female ) , Nasik eighteen ( fifteen males and 3 females ) Palghar - twelve ( Eleven males one female )  Bhiwandi - Fifteen ( fifteen males and no females ) ,  Kalyan twenty eight  (twenty five males and three females , Thane - twenty three ( 21  Males and two females ) , Mumbai North - eighteen ( Seventeen males one female ) , Mumbai North West - twenty one ( nineteen males and two females ) , Mumbai North East - twenty seven ( Twenty males and seven females  ), Mumbai North Central - twenty  ( sixteen males and four females  Mumbai South Central - seventeen ( fifteen males and two females ) , South Mumbai - thirteen ( Thirteen males and no females ) , Mawal - Twenty one ( Nineteen males and two females , Shirur - twenty three ( nineteen males and four females ) and Shirdi Constituency - twenty  ( twenty males and no female )

The Office of the Chief Election Officer has informed that it has become clear that no female candidates are contesting the elections from Bhiwandi, Mumbai South and Shirdi Lok Sabha Constituency. The first stage of voting is completed in Maharashtra and there are eight hundred sixty seven candidates in the first, second, third and fourth stage which includes seven hundred eighty seven male candidates and eighty female candidates.
