He further said that, approximately 5500 family with 30000 peoples are staying in polluted area in Mahul Village where pollution rate is high as 4860 % and above due to this 110 peoples died. Local peoples had filed a case in Mumbai High Court where Hon’ble High Court had directed government official to rehabilitate peoples in safer place.
Recently, known social activist Smt. Medha Patkar meet Housing Minister Shri Praksh Mehta in his cabin whereas Housing Minister had assured that within eight days peoples will be rehabilitate in safer place but till date no rehabilitation took place. Naseem Khan strongly demanded for urgent rehabilitation of peoples who are staying in Mahul Village to a safer place like HDIL Primere Road, Kurla at the earliest.
