The BJP is a bigger enemy of Lord Ram than Raavan ever was: Sanjay Nirupam

Mumbai: Mumbai Congress President Sanjay Nirupam today attacked the PM Narendra Modi-led BJP Govt and lit 100 Rafale fighter jet-shaped lanterns condemning the controversial Rafale scam. Mr. Nirupam lit these jet-shaped lanterns in front of the Reliance Energy's Office owned by Anil Ambani in Mumbai's Sanracruz area calling Ambani the 'Rafale thief'.

Sanjay Nirupam said, "PM Modi and Defense Minister Nirmala Sitharaman have refrained from revealing the actual cost price of the Rafale fighter planes till date. This money doesn't belong to either of them. It belongs to the taxpayers of the country. The people of the country deserve to know the actual costs involved. They don't know how much of the signed amount belongs to PM Modi and how much of it belongs to Anil Ambani."

Sanjay Nirupam added, "Until now Congress President Rahul Gandhi is the only leader who has looked PM Narendra Modi in the eye and questioned him about everyone involved in this humongous scam. If Narendra Modi wasn't the Prime Minister of the country, Anil Ambani would have been behind bars by now for his actions".

Attacking the BJP Govt Sanjay Nirupam further said that, "the BJP Govt has politicised the Ram Mandir issue since the Lok Sabha Polls of 2019 are just around the corner. They have been speaking about this issue only when they've being asked about the inflation and increasing crimes in the country among other challenges we are facing today. However, Raavan wasn't as big an enemy of Lord Ram as the BJP".

Sanjay Nirupam, along with other party workers, lit total hundred lanterns in front of the Reliance Energy's Office with the slogan- "Rafale Chor kaha hai? Yaha hai..yaha hai..".
