Chief Minister announces in state assembly

Nagpur, July 5:- Chief Minister Mr Devendra Fadnavis today declared that the judicial enquiry will be initiated in the case of land allotted to the Koyna project affected people in Navi Mumbai. He said that uniform  policy will be made for distributing the land to the project affected people in the state.

          Chief minister Devendra Fadnavis further said that the allegations made by the opposition are totally wrong. He said that the powers of allocation of land rests with the District Magistrate and no file is sent to be the chief minister or revenue minister.

 The leader of the opposition Mr Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil raised the discussion under rule 97 in the state assembly today. Replying to his query chief minister further  said that the number of Koyna project affected people in Raigad district are 751 and 311 project affected have been allotted entire land whereas 316 of them have been given partial land. In all 627  project affected have been allotted the land.
